Ingo Schmitt, born 1974, is managing partner at Marketing Factory Consulting GmbH (located in Düsseldorf, Germany), where his main responsibility lies within the development and operation of complex and sustainable digital applications. He has been working with TYPO3 since 3.5.0. During that time he has seen many applications, technical ideas and problems - not only in the TYPO3 ecosystem. He believes that every problem, which has been solved during long office hours, is adding some extra knowledge to your personal stack. In his free time Ingo is voluntary part of the business control committee of the TYPO3 Association where he has a close look at the budgets and accounts. Also he is involved in the local TYPO3 Usergroup Rhein-Ruhr e.v. - Organizing the TYPO3 Camp Rhein Ruhr in November.

When not working with TYPO3, he is participating in sailing regattas in the summer and is trying to learn hockey in the winter.
