Guidelines for your submissions
The TYPO3 Developer Days are a community event focused on learning, sharing knowledge, and connecting people. Of course, it is OK to talk about your solutions but not to put focus on them.
Three main formats to choose from
- Talk: a 35-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A at the end of the talk
- Workshop: full or half-day workshop
- Discussion: a moderated discussion between panelists, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Talk:
A talk is a presentation on a topic you have special knowledge in. You have around 35 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions from the audience (Q&A).
If you want to send in a talk, we need a summary of your topic (max. 700 characters). Please be aware that your talks will be recorded and streamed on YouTube.
Workshop:
If you have a topic that requires a deeper dive with a specific group of people, please consider submitting a half or full-day workshop. We will accept proposals on an ongoing basis, but spots are limited, so please submit them as soon as possible.
Discussion
The discussion format is ideal if you want to talk about an issue and bring different people with different opinions to the table.
If you want to send in a discussion, we need a summary (max. 500 characters) of what you want to discuss and a list of max. six panelists you wish to bring on stage.
Important:
Please ask your panelists first before you offer a submission. Only list people who have already agreed, and we will find a moderator for the discussion.
